After the awe-inspiring train ride deep into it, you can explore the cave\u2019s miracles on foot. The cave is also home to the amphibian species called proteus or olm, sometimes referred to as the <\/span><b>Human fish or a \u201cbaby dragon\u201d.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Come and find out why they call it like that.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The other magnificent cave system worth visiting are the <\/span><b>\u0160kocjan Caves<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. They have been on the<\/span><b> UNESCO world heritage list<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> since 1986, the only monument in Slovenia to have that honour.
