Bled

Located at the doorstep of the Julian Alps, this idyllic town next to the scenic Lake Bled is a top destination of Slovenia. There are not many views that surpass the panorama of Lake Bled with its romantic church island in the middle with the overlooking Bled castle and the mighty Alps in the background.

Besides admiring the views, Bled offers many other activities. For a closer look at the church, you can visit the island on a traditional “pletna” boat ride. You can also visit the 1000-year old Bled Castle or hike to a nearby hill for an amazing view. Bled also offers lots of opportunities for other outdoor activities such as SUP paddling and cycling, or more leisurely ones like relaxing in thermal spas or delighting your senses with gastronomical treats.
